What a cake! My kids and I love preparing and eating this cute and delicious cake. It is great bonding for us. You need to try this. I am sure that you and your kids are going to have so much fun. Feel free to add more ingredients if you prefer. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

The Cake:

1 box devil’s food cake, plus ingredients called for on the box

2 c. peanut butter, melted

1 c. chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

1 c. Reese’s Pieces

The Peanut Butter Frosting:

1 c. peanut butter

10 tbsp. unsalted butter softened to room temperature

2 c. powdered sugar

2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. kosher salt

2 tbsp. heavy cream

How To Make The Cake:

Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 175 degrees C or 350 degrees F.

Step 2: Line with parchment paper or apply the cooking spray in a 9×13-inch baking pan.

Step 3: Refer to the instructions provided on the packaging of the cake mix.

Step 4: Transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan.

Step 5: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean after inserting it in the middle.

Step 6: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool.

Step 7: Poke tiny holes all over the cake and spread the melted peanut butter all over the cake.

How To Make The Frosting:

Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, add the butter and peanut butter. Beat using an electric mixer until creamy.

Step 2: Add the vanilla, powdered sugar, and salt. Beat until well mixed.

Step 3: Add the cream cheese gradually and beat until well blended.

Step 4: Spread the frosting on the cake.

Step 5: Top the cake with sliced Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Pieces.
