Do you want your house to smell heavenly? It’s time to bake this Cinnamon Baked Apples! The smell alone will surely make your mouths water for sure let alone eating the fork-tender apples! You are so in for a treat. Feel free to add more ingredients to this amazing recipe. I got this online and I am so glad that I decided to give it a try because I never would have tasted how awesome it is! If it is too sweet for you, reduce the amount of sugar you put. 1 teaspoon butter

2 tablespoons brown sugar

3 teaspoons vanilla sugar

3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

6 large apples – peeled, cored, and sliced


3 ½ tablespoons water


Step 1: Prepare the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F or 175 degrees C.

Step 2: Brush with butter a large baking dish.

Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add the brown sugar, nutmeg, vanilla sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until well mixed.

Step 4: Add and arrange 1/3 of the sliced apples on the bottom of the greased baking dish.

Step 5: Sprinkle 1/3 of the sugar mixture over the apples.

Step 6: Repeat this until all the apples and sugar mixture are arranged in layers.

Step 7: Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until the colour turns brown.

Step 8: Pour in water and cook for another 15 minutes or until the apples are fork-tender.

Step 9: Remove from the oven and let it sit on a wire rack to cool at room temperature.

Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
