Eating healthy is not difficult at all. It does not have to be fussy or you do not need to spent so many hours planning the menus and executing them in the kitchen. A balanced diet requires adequate amount of protein, carbohydrates and fat. Simple. You need to ensure that you add ingredients that would contribute each component to your meal. This would give your body the nutrients it needs to function correctly. Without these nutrients your body is prone to diseases, fatigue, infection and poor performance. Once you decide your each ingredient you can play around with the flavours with the marinades and the method of cooking. As I strongly believe, cooking isn’t rocket science . All you need is a bit of patience and add lots of love while cooking and it comes out great. Here I have a perfect recipe for eating healthy that could be simply baked in one pan.
As I mentioned before, you can use the same recipe and change the ingredients or use the same ingredients with different marinades. So take care of yourself and start eating healthier meals.
Dads, this one is for you, you don’t need to be a cook to make something eatable! This one pan dinner chicken, potatoes and greens is so easy and simple to prepare even my 9 year old daughter can make it!
Yield: 4 Servings, Serving Size: 3 oz chicken, 1/2 cup green beans
3 skinless chicken breasts cut in half.
2 cans of drained green beans.
6 large red skin potatoes cut in quarters.
1 package of zesty italian dressing mix.
1 stick of melted butter.
Place the chicken in the center of a 9×13 pan and place the green beans on it’s right and the potatoes on it’s left.
Top with the italian dressing mix and drizzle with butter.
In a preheated oven to 350° bake the chicken covered with aluminum foil for 1 hours and serve warm. Voila!
